On May 8, we celebrate our school communicators across CISND, who bring our stories of faith, learning, and community to life. Thank you for keeping our families and the broader community informed, engaged, and connected through the moments that matter most.

"As we return to our schools and communities, let us remain clear, focused, and undistracted. Let us remember that our work matters deeply. Let us lead with joyful enthusiasm, with confidence in Christ, and with love for those entrusted to our care. "

This week, we recognize Mental Health Week and the importance of caring for our minds, hearts, and overall well-being.
Across CISND, we are reminded that every person carries unique strengths, challenges, and stories. May we continue to build school communities rooted in kindness, understanding, and support—where it is always okay to ask for help and to care for one another.

"The road to Emmaus offers a beautiful witness for us. "
In this week's update, Superintendent Pamela Guilbault reflects on how Catholic leadership "begins by being present to others with compassion and sincerity. It calls us to listen carefully, to accompany faithfully, and to respond not with haste, but with wisdom, patience, and hope."

Today, on Divine Mercy Sunday, we are reminded of the endless depth of God’s mercy and love.
No matter where we’ve been or what we carry, His mercy is always greater—offering forgiveness, renewal, and hope.
“Jesus, I trust in You.”
Let this day be an invitation to embrace grace, extend mercy to others, and begin again.

This week, Superintendent Pamela Guilbault shares three reflections:
Live as Easter people.
Trust the new path God has set before us.
Move from seeker to witness.

Jesus said to her, 'I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die.' - John 11:25-26

Good Friday invites us to pause and reflect.
It is a day that reminds us of the depth of God’s love and the power of sacrifice.
As we remember His death, we hold onto the promise of hope—looking ahead to the joy of Easter and the gift of new life through His resurrection.
Today, may we take time to reflect, pray, and give thanks for the grace, hope, and redemption found in His sacrifice.

And he took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is my body given for you; do this in remembrance of me.” In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you.” - Luke 22:19-20
