Mission Statement of the CISND Board of Directors

With the Holy Spirit as the source and foundation of unity in the church, the mission of the Board of Directors is to function as a bond of unity and collaboration between the Catholic School communities of the Nelson Diocese.  Reflective of Catholic Gospel values, the Board will oversee and protect the essence of Catholic Education through the development and implementation of polices and procedures.

The CISND Strategic Plan provides a shared vision for the future of Catholic education across the Nelson Diocese. Guided by our mission, values, and commitment to student success, the plan outlines the priorities that will strengthen our schools, support our communities, and inspire excellence in faith, learning, and leadership.

By focusing on continuous improvement and collaboration, the Strategic Plan serves as a roadmap for creating exceptional learning environments where every student can grow academically, spiritually, and personally.

The School Diocesan Policy Manual is designed to provide guidelines, regulations and consistency for all involved with the schools of the diocese.  It contains helpful information for the Board of Directors, School Councils, Parent Support Groups, employees, parents, and students.
