September 30 is a day to acknowledge the truths of the past and to reflect on the ongoing journey of reconciliation. It is a time for learning, listening, and standing in solidarity with Indigenous peoples.

Superintendent Pamela Guilbault reminds us of St. Paul's letter to Timothy: "... the gifts we have are not ours alone, but gifts given by God to serve the Church, to build up her body. We are equipped — spiritually, intellectually, relationally — to serve in our unique roles, for His work, for His mission."
