St. Joseph School first opened its doors in 1898 when the Sisters of St. Joseph of Peace arrived in Nelson, establishing a two-room boarding school and high school. Today, the school provides education for students in Kindergarten through to Grade 9. As a strong Catholic community, we strive to bring out the best in each other, to serve and become the people God has called us to be. Our mission is to develop the body, mind and soul (spirit) of our students through excellence in academics, health, and faith.
